MEET REP. KATY HALL (R)
I have worn many hats throughout my life: wife; mother to four sons and proud mother-in-law to three daughters-in-law; nana to six wonderful grandchildren; registered nurse; high school tennis coach; proud Navy wife and Air Force mom; Ironman; and, for the past four years, State House Representative for District 11.
My husband and two of my sons currently serve in our nation’s armed forces. Patriotism, respect for the Constitution, and a deep commitment to the rule of law are not abstract principles in our family, they are lived values. I am profoundly grateful for the privilege of being a citizen of this great nation and of the State of Utah. It is an honor to serve, and I am committed to continuing to represent the principles and ideals that make Utah such a strong and exceptional place to live.
I hold firm conservative values and believe our community deserves principled, steady representation. My goal is to ensure that all residents remain informed, engaged, and heard. I do this through consistent communication with constituents and collaboration with local leaders. I have the time, the experience, and the passion to address the issues facing our community, and I am willing to put in the work and time it takes to do the job of legislator well.

I believe in limited government, personal responsibility, and policies grounded in the Constitution and common sense. Utah conservatives know federal overreach threatens our liberty, so I will fight to cut taxes, reduce spending, protect the Second Amendment, and defend property rights. I am committed to returning power to states and families while preserving the self-reliance that defines our state.
ACCESS TO HEALTHCARE
I am working extensively on healthcare policy to advance practical reforms that improve patient care, support workers, strengthen accountability, and lower costs. I support market solutions like price transparency, reduced regulations, and telemedicine instead of government mandates or socialized medicine. These changes protect conscience rights, respect personal responsibility, and expand access across Utah’s rural communities.
PRO-MILITARY & LAW ENFORCEMENT
With family members serving in uniform, I proudly support our military, veterans, and law enforcement who protect our nation and communities. I will always back strong national defense, secure borders, adequate funding, and policies that honor those who wear the badge rather than defund them. Utah families deserve leaders who prioritize public safety and constitutional freedoms.
COMMITTED TO EDUCATION
As a parent and grandparent, I am committed to helping children thrive through strong schools, parental rights, and support for their physical and mental health. I champion school choice, curriculum transparency, and teaching reading, math, and American history instead of ideological indoctrination.

Her work reflects the self-reliance and individual liberty that Utah conservatives value most.
Access to Healthcare
Rep. Hall recently sponsored HB 270, the Healthcare Worker Post-Employment Amendment, and co-sponsored SB 319, the Health Insurance Preauthorization Amendments. These laws help ensure patients can continue care seamlessly with their healthcare teams without unnecessary delays or confusion. As a healthcare professional, Katy knows what it takes to work on the front lines and confidently represent our healthcare workers.
Backing the Blue & Veterans
Drawing from her family’s military service, Rep. Hall supports legislation providing mental health resources for veterans and first responders while defending qualified immunity. She consistently stood with law enforcement, military and veterans, and pushed for strong national defense and secure borders. Her actions demonstrate unwavering support for those who protect our communities and constitutional freedoms.
Quality Education
Rep. Hall works to prioritize core academics like reading, math, American history, and civics while protecting school choice. Rep. Hall sponsored HB 36, Gold Medal Schools, which promotes physical fitness programs in elementary schools.
Her efforts also advanced student physical and mental health resources that respect family authority, student athletes, and Utah values.
